Sports Travel and Incentives – Product Manager

The Opportunity
Working within the Operations department in our Winnipeg, MB office the successful applicant will become
an expert on Roadtrips Inc. product planning, construction, management, costing and purchasing.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- collaborative new product brainstorming, critiquing, and troubleshooting
- new product planning, costing, competitive analysis and pricing
- building product fulfillment recipes for fulfillment staff
- liaising with suppliers, including contract analysis, finalization and implementation, relationship
management, problem resolution and business planning
- planning for product component costs and reacting to marketplace fluctuations
- creating product description documents that clearly and accurately portray product inclusions for
marketing staff and clients
- margin monitoring
- manage efforts of fulfillment staff
- working in conjunction with fulfillment staff to complete product fulfillment
- working on-site with guests and Roadtrips hosting staff
- ensuring customer experience exceeds expectations
- managing hotel inventory, negotiations and contracts
- traveling to events to ensure consistent delivery of company experience
- extensive travel in North America and abroad
The Individual
Ideal candidates will possess many of the following traits:
- university or college degree
- experience with product planning including budgeting, purchasing, and fulfillment
- ability to interact effectively with clients
- well developed problem solving skills
- ability to remain poised under pressure
- strong negotiation skills
- advanced computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Excel
- passion for travel
- extensive travel experience
- positive work ethic and team working/collaborative skills
- superior organizational skills
- obsessive attention to detail
- strong spelling and grammar skills
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will work directly with the Product team and VP Operations to ensure that new and existing products are compelling, responsibly priced and properly constructed. They will also have the opportunity to provide tour and meeting support services on-site at major sporting events as they grow into their role and understanding of Roadtrips Inc. practices.

First year compensation will range from $36,000 to $42,000 plus performance bonuses.
